2. Data We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of data:

• Account data: email address, display name, and profile photo (if provided) when you create an account.
• Event data: event names, dates, descriptions, and settings you create within the App.
• Media: photos and videos you upload through the App's in-app camera or media picker.
• Contact data: if you choose to invite people using your device's contacts, we access contact names and phone numbers only at the time of sending the invite; we do not store your full contacts list.
• Device and usage data: device type, operating system version, App version, crash logs, and general usage analytics to help us improve the App.
• Push notification tokens: to send you in-App notifications about your events.
• Transaction data: purchase records related to in-app purchases (processed by Apple or Google — we do not receive or store your payment card details).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Operate and provide the Service, including storing and displaying event media.
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• Send push notifications about your events (you can disable these in your device settings).
• Diagnose bugs, crashes, and technical issues.
• Improve the App through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.

4. Media Storage and Retention

Photos and videos you upload are stored on third-party cloud infrastructure to deliver the Service. We do not guarantee the permanent availability of your media. Media associated with deleted events may be removed at any time. You are responsible for downloading and keeping copies of any media you wish to retain. We accept no liability for lost, corrupted, or inaccessible media (see also our Terms of Service).

5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party infrastructure providers, which may include:

• Firebase (Google LLC): backend services, authentication, storage, and push notifications.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: app distribution and in-app purchase processing.

Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their data practices. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these providers in countries outside your own.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

• With other App users: your display name and profile photo are visible to other participants in events you join or create. Media you upload is shared with other event participants after the release date.
• With service providers: third-party infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements.
• Legal compliance: if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfer: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Guest and Invitee Content

When you invite guests to your event, they may upload media that includes images of other people. We are not responsible for content uploaded by guests. If you believe content uploaded by another user violates your rights or applicable law, contact us at our contact form and we will review the report.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data and accept no liability for unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. 9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained for a limited period thereafter for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format).

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

The App itself does not use cookies. This website may use minimal, session-only cookies for basic functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this website.

13. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, as part of our use of third-party cloud services. Where required by law, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses for EEA transfers).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
