We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We never use your phone number, name, email address, event details, or photos and videos for advertising. If you accept ad measurement (section 12), we share limited, non-identifying event counts and your device's advertising identifier with Meta and Google to measure our own advertising.
Photos and videos you upload are stored on third-party cloud infrastructure to deliver the Service. We do not guarantee the permanent availability of your media. Media associated with deleted events may be removed at any time. You are responsible for downloading and keeping copies of any media you wish to retain. We accept no liability for lost, corrupted, or inaccessible media (see also our Terms of Service).
To protect the fairness of the credit system, our servers may automatically delete media files that exceed your purchased credit allocation. This can occur if media is captured offline and subsequently synced after your credits have already been fully used on another device. Affected files are deleted permanently and cannot be recovered. The timestamp recorded at the time of capture determines which files are retained; files captured earliest are kept first. See Section 4 of our Terms of Service for full details.

Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their data practices. By using the App, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these providers in countries outside your own.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
When you invite guests to your event, they may upload media that includes images of other people. We are not responsible for content uploaded by guests. If you believe content uploaded by another user violates your rights or applicable law, contact us at our contact form and we will review the report.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data and accept no liability for unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Please see our Terms of Service for further details.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account in the App under Settings, then Delete Account. Your account is permanently deleted after a 28-day period in which you can cancel the request. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained for a limited period thereafter for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes.

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
The App does not use cookies. When you first open the App (version 2.0.2 and later) it asks whether you want to help us measure our ads. This is optional.
If you tap "Accept", the App switches on the Meta SDK (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) and Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC). They receive your device's advertising identifier (the Advertising ID on Android, or the IDFA on iPhone if you also allow tracking when your device asks) and counts and categories of actions in the App: signing up, creating or joining an event, uploading your first photo or video, sending an invite, viewing a reveal, and purchases of credits (value and currency). We never send your phone number, name, email address, event names or codes, or your photos and videos. We use this to measure which of our ads lead to installs, sign-ups and purchases. Meta may process this data in the United States and acts as an independent controller for its own purposes; see Meta's Privacy Policy.
If you tap "No thanks", neither is switched on and nothing is sent. You can change your choice at any time in the App under Settings, then Ad measurement. On iPhone you can also turn off tracking for Phrowto in your device settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
This website may use minimal, session-only cookies for basic functionality, which do not need your consent.
If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we also load the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies (such as _fbp) and sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your browser and device details and your IP address. We use this to measure the performance of our advertising and to show Phrowto ads to people who visited our website. Meta may process this data in the United States and acts as an independent controller for its own purposes; see Meta's Privacy Policy.
We do not load the Meta Pixel unless you accept. If you click "Reject", nothing is sent to Meta. You can change your choice at any time using cookie settings.
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, as part of our use of third-party cloud services. Where required by law, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses for EEA transfers).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
